Renewed flavors boost
pysches starved by wintry blast
of grey solitude.

signal ice tea memories

Leaves chased off perches
they have embraced since their birth
as gusty winds mock.

A friendship that I can never forget
leaves me in appreciation that we met -
with constant cheer and talent to spare
always you showed me that you care;
yours is a star that will never fade away
since you dwell in my heart, every day.
You are irreplaceable, though years may pass
one could never forget your sweetness and class -
unique in personality, genuinely a treasure:
roses adorn your future; no limits to measure.
Farewell is not a word with you I could utter
rather aloha because I feel inside, like your brother -
in keeping alive memories that in my heart reside
each Constellations visit I sense you at my side:
neon moons dance forever over Hawaiian skies;
dusk and dawn, night and day you shine in my eyes.

Petals In The Snow
As the chill of winter weighs heavy on this burdened
heart ... I have succumbed to those moments when
your presence lingers with me ... when I'm able to
rest in the serenity of your whispers and the comfort
of your embrace; I surrendered my heart under the
breath of a summer sky so long ago ... and even
now when all that remains are crimson petals
cast upon a blanket of snow ...
it's still yours
Though you're gone I can never release sweet
memories that remain etched in my soul so
devotedly ... it's your breath I feel when I lie
in bed at night ... it's your warmth that delivers
me from night chills that would otherwise freeze
forever any thoughts of happiness; I cannot be
sad when I sense you near ... I am numb to
death's icy tendrils and brush them off like
unwanted snowflakes upon my heart ...
it's ever you I seek
My eternal love you have ... a devotion that
time nor distance can ever diminish ... immortal
sentiments that will draw me close to you should
the days rest heavy and my spirit grow weary;
hush me in the realm of your wings and carry me
gently in those moments when I reach for you ...
when I long to be held and my soul aches
for your touch

My dad is away with the choir
My mom isn't allowed to walk dogs since my aunts dog broke her arm last year while trying to chase a bird.
My best friend has gone looking for buffalos and my other best friend is baby sitting

Rick, I thought "Good Luck Chuck" was an awesome movie. Jessica Alba was breathtaking as usual. I just finished watching the movie and I thought it was really good. Now I'm getting ready to watch the Astros versus Rockies game in a few hours.
I can't wait until the Texans versus Steelers game on Sunday! It already seems like hours away... Win or lose, I'm going to have fun watching the Texans progress this season. They're making strides every year, and eventually they'll be a good team.
Now my mouth is all dry after watching Jessica Alba on screen for a few hours. I need to get something to drink before the ballgame starts!
